Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for Napleton's Lexus of Maplewood in Minnesota. You will perform repair and maintenance tasks to dealer and factory standards, helping to build customer trust through accurate diagnostics and quality workmanship.

This position offers exposure to a large, multi-brand dealer group with ongoing training, competitive flat-rate pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by management
