Responsibilities

• Greet customers, listen to the problem description, obtain customer and vehicle information.
• Inspect vehicles for bodywork and notify the customer if work is needed.
• Secure customer agreement before repairs; cover cost estimates and timing.
• Advise customers on car care and manufacturer maintenance menus.
• Handle minor customer complaints and misunderstandings.
• Follow up on each repair order and update customers by phone.
• Handle phone inquiries and return messages promptly.
• Deliver vehicles and explain charges and coverage to customers.
• Refer leads to sales departments as appropriate.
• Assist the service manager as necessary.
• Follow safety procedures to avoid fumes, dirt, and chemicals.
