Job summary

Clawson-Honda-of-Fresno is seeking a full-time Express Advisor to join our busy service department. The role requires a flexible schedule with Monday–Saturday hours, reliable attendance, and the ability to walk customers through service estimates and timing.

You will build trust by explaining costs, obtaining approvals, and communicating progress to customers throughout the service experience. Candidates should have strong communication and customer service skills, be team-oriented, and maintain

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a full-time candidate for this fast paced, high level position. Express Advisor candidates will need to have a flexible schedule as the service department is open Monday-Saturday. Candidates will need to be reliable, calling out only hurts the overall production of our team. Candidates will need to verify warranty and service contract coverage. The candidate will need to develop estimates by costing parts and labor. The express advisor candidate will need to create and maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates, while also obtaining approvals for estimates. Customer service is a huge part of being an express advisor, we want to answer customer concerns about scheduling and car maintenance. To ensure the best communication with our customers the express advisor will need to perform a vehicle walk-around. To best assist the customer we want to keep them informed on the time of completion time, and if any additional services need to be done, and the estimated cost and service expenses. Before the customer leaves the express advisor will explain all work performed and completed upon service delivery.

The approximate pay range for this position is $16.50-$17.50 plus bonuses, spiffs, and competitions. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as the geographic location of the position.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Express advisors must have an outgoing and friendly personality. Candidates must have quality customer service skills. All candidates must be team players and work well with others. Candidates must possess strong communication skills (bilingual is a plus). Express advisors will mutli-task while maintaining a clean and organized station. Automotive dealership service experience is also a plus. All employees must have acceptable driving records and a valid driver's license. All employees must be successful in creating good customer relationships and having a good customer base.
