Southern Auto Group in Chesapeake, VA is hiring full-time Automotive Express/Quick Lube Technicians for our Chevrolet location in Western Branch. You will perform oil changes and routine maintenance with a focus on speed and accuracy, while delivering high-quality service to every customer.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, post-secondary automotive training, and dealer-level or large-facility experience. ASE certification or willingness to obtain it is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience.
• ASE certification (or willing to obtain) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses appropriate oil and filters for proper car maintenance.
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle exterior while performing oil changes.
• Reports issues to Service Advisor as needed.
• Ensures documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standards.
• Supports shop operations and safety standards.
