Job summary

Southern Auto Group is hiring for an Automotive Express/Quick Lube Technician at our Chevy location in Western Branch. This full-time role focuses on efficient oil changes, following standard procedures, and delivering high-quality service to customers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, post-secondary automotive training, 2+ years dealer-level or large facility experience, and ASE certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience.
• ASE certification (or willing to obtain certification) preferred.
• Unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses appropriate oil and filters for proper car maintenance.
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle exterior while performing oil changes.
• Report any visible issues or concerns to the appointed Service Advisor.
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standards.
• Supports shop operations including inventory stocking and general duties.
• Follows all shop policies, safety, and environmental rules.
• Attends staff meetings, training, and classes as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
