Holler Nissan of Lexington is seeking an Automotive Express Service Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. The shop uses Hunter equipment and well-organized tools, with a sign-on bonus discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Good judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in a dealership or automotive school.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo background screening.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with the required amount of oil.
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles.
• Check air pressure of tires.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Inject grease into units with a grease gun when available.
• Add water to radiator and battery.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs needed.
• Completes MPI inspection and records findings for the service advisor.
• Walk or stand for extended periods.
• Sunday work not required as stated (shop closed).
• Trained service advisors and BDC representatives.
• Maintain well-stocked parts inventory.
• Participation in 401(k) and 401(k) matching programs.
