Holler Nissan Columbia is hiring an Express Service Technician to join our Columbia, South Carolina service team. The role involves performing vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, with modern equipment and tools provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or Automotive Technical School.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles.
• Check air pressure of tires.
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
• Inject grease into units such as springs, U-joints and steering knuckles.
• Add water to radiator and battery.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed.
• Complete thorough MPI inspection and document findings for the advisor.
