Job summary

Subaru of America, Inc. is seeking a senior compliance leader to direct its export controls program from Camden, NJ.

This role will oversee ECCN determinations, licensing, and internal audits while coordinating with Product Management, NASI, SBR, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to BIS, OFAC, and CBP requirements. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with 8–10 years in export control and related regulatory fields, along with strong communication skills and the ability to drive

Qualifications

• Up to date with a rapidly changing regulatory environment and due diligence requirements.
• Export control regulations knowledge (EAR, ITAR, OFAC) and related compliance practices.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead export compliance activities and implement policies and procedures.
• Coordinate ECCN determinations and export licensing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and update the Export Compliance Manual and training programs.
• Interface with multiple departments and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee EEI filings and screening processes in GTM systems.
