We’re seeking a Bilingual Spanish Export Customer Service Specialist to work at one of our largest key accounts in the automotive industry in Torrance, CA. Sound good? Take a closer look below. Pay: $27.90/hr

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

This position is 100% on-site in Torrance, CA

Must be Bilingual in Spanish

Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with AHM’s distributors and Genpos, supporting service and parts availability, on-time delivery, shipment integrity, and reducing backorders.
  • Handle export distributor accounts, support forecasting, order processing, pricing, and coordinate with internal departments such as Inventory Control and Supply teams.
  • Manage key export distributors and Genpos, work with internal teams to meet customer service expectations, and improve service levels.
  • Provide regular updates to management on customer satisfaction efforts and participate in special projects like export backorder management.

Additional roles:

  • Coordinate with various departments to set up parts, gather ETA info, process orders, and support shipping compliance.
  • Monitor export service levels, forecast accuracy, backorders, and on-time delivery.
  • Conduct periodic video conferences with customers and prepare reports for management review.
  • Participate in special projects, including travel to meet top customers.

Daily tasks:

  • Customer service activities, including conducting monthly video calls, visiting distributors, researching ETA’s, and coordinating orders.
  • Manage export backorders, ensure parts availability for new models, and prepare weekly executive presentations.

Reporting and projects:

  • Work with logistics teams to ensure timely shipments.
  • Manage the W37 forecasting program, including tracking, CAPDo, and annual reviews.

Required Skills:

  • BA/BS degree in Business or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in export customer service or related field.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Experience managing international customers.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with Business Objects reporting.
  • Knowledge of international business and AHM parts operations.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and communication skills.
