Job summary

Agile Space Industries, Inc. is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist to support ITAR/EAR compliance, risk management, and cross‑functional collaboration across Contracts, Engineering, Security, and Legal.

This role emphasizes practical processes, risk assessment, and ongoing regulatory monitoring. The candidate should be experienced in export controls, able to translate complex requirements into actionable steps, and willing to work remotely within the United States.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret complex regulatory and contractual requirements and translate them into practical language.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating contract terms including export‑control related clauses.
• Experience reviewing contracts, subcontracts, and export documentation.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support export‑control and trade compliance activities, including ITAR and EAR.
• Provide guidance on export‑control requirements affecting products, data, software, services, or transactions.
• Lead jurisdiction determinations and ECCN classifications with technical teams.
• Assist in licensing processes and maintain accurate license and agreement records.
• Review business activities for export‑control implications and conduct screenings as needed.
• Develop and improve compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support audits, training, and cross‑functional collaboration to embed compliance.
