Job summary

The University of Arizona is seeking an Export Control Analyst to support the export control program across the Tucson campus. You will assess project activities for export regulations, identify license requirements, and manage end-to-end license applications and authorizations.

You will engage with faculty, staff, and units to foster a collaborative compliance culture and maintain TCPs and the export-control database (Agiloft).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
• 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate campus-wide activities involving export-controlled information to determine regulatory pathways.
• Identify license requirements and manage end-to-end license applications and authorizations.
• Monitor activities for export compliance issues and lead remediation efforts.
• Conduct restricted-party screening to mitigate regulatory exposure.
• Develop and oversee Technology Control Plans (TCPs) and perform routine TCP audits.
• Maintain export compliance database (Agiloft) and ensure records compliance.
• Create and present export compliance training and materials for campus-wide use.
• Assist in updating export control policies and risk assessments.
• Gather and analyze information to develop reports for senior leadership.
