Job summary

Export Control Manager at the University of California, Office of the President in Oakland leads UCOP's systemwide export control program, aligning with ITAR/EAR, NSPM-33 and CHIPS requirements. • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in export control or related field.
• Experience in developing and delivering training on export controls.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor an effective export control compliance program UCOP.
• Develop an export control liaison network and provide training.
• Coordinate licenses and ITAR processes; maintain registrations.
• Support institutional research security per NSPM-33 and CHIPS requirements.
• Lead cross-campus working groups and share best practices.
• Communicate complex policy requirements to stakeholders.
