Job summary

Powerus is seeking an Export Control Manager to own the company’s export compliance program across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and business development. The role supports Empowered Official duties and ensures proper jurisdiction, classification, and licensing under ITAR/EAR.

You will maintain DDTC registration, handle EEI filings, and lead deemed-export controls while delivering targeted training and conducting internal audits to address any gaps.

Qualifications

• Experience managing export control programs under ITAR and EAR.
• Knowledge of USML, CCL, ECCN, license exceptions and exemptions.
• Ability to document determinations and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Make jurisdiction and classification determinations against USML/CCL, including ECCN assignment.
• Prepare, submit, and manage DDTC and BIS license applications.
• Draft and administer JA/MLA and related authorizations.
• Maintain DDTC registration, EEI/AES filings, and license records.
• Own the technology control plan and data marking.
