Job summary

RTX is seeking a Global Trade and Compliance Specialist in East Hartford, CT to ensure EAR/ITAR compliance, lead export classification reviews, and support publication workflows for the F135 Joint Technical Data program.

You will collaborate with Global Trade, Engineering, Quality and Program Management to document gaps, monitor regulations, and drive continuous improvement in documentation accuracy and cycle time.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Aviation Technology, Legal/Compliance Studies, or a highly technical discipline required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience supporting global trade functions, OR Advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience supporting global trade functions.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure EAR/ITAR compliance is understood and integrated into technical publication workflows.
• Perform EAR and ITAR export classification reviews (X-Class) and log/validate data.
• Conduct daily Global Trade releasability reviews for JTD and support publication schedules and data cut‑offs.
• Identify and help resolve gaps discovered during audits and audits.
