The role requires 2+ years in export compliance, familiarity with ITAR/EAR, and strong MS Office skills. This is a contract-to-hire, onsite position with a salary of $30–$35 per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of export compliance experience.
• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience with ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Experience classifying aerospace or defense-related products and parts.
• Knowledge of export licensing processes and government agencies (DDTC/BIS).
• Ability to review technical or engineering documentation.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Classify products, parts, and technical data under ITAR and EAR regulations.
• Prepare and manage export licenses and government approvals.
• Review international shipments and export documentation for compliance.
• Track license requirements, expiration dates, and records.
• Protect controlled engineering and technical data.
• Screen customers, suppliers, visitors, and employees against restricted party lists.
• Review transactions and identify export compliance risks.
• Support engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and shipping teams with export questions.
• Conduct export compliance training for employees.
• Perform compliance audits, investigations, and corrective actions when needed.
• Assist with government inquiries and compliance reporting.
