Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the pace between the Servers and the kitchen.
• Monitor ticket times and communicate with the cook line for prompt delivery of orders.
• Ensure all orders are prepared according to Guests' specifications and the West End Grill recipes and menu.
• Insure proper plate presentation at all times.
• Immediately notify management of any item that needs to be recooked and run to a table.
• Call for food runners to ensure food gets to the table in a timely manner.

Responsibilities of a Expediter (Expo):

• Skills to coordinate and manage the pace and flow between the Servers and the kitchen
• Attention to detail to monitor ticket times and communicate with cook line to assure prompt delivery of orders
• A commitment to ensure that all orders are prepared according to the Guests’ specifications and follow the West End Grill recipes and menu.
• Insuring proper plate presentation at all times.

• The capability to call for food runners to ensure food gets to the table in a timely manner

You might also have:

• Experience as a Expeditor in a fast-paced work environment
• Organizational skills to maintain contact with the kitchen, Managers, and Servers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and Guests’ concerns are addressed
• The ability to diffuse stressful situations through a calm, thoughtful demeanor
• The desire to work with servers and food runners, to ensure efficient operations while focusing on Guests’ needs
