Entertimeonline currently seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist at our Radford facility. The role requires ensuring compliance with BATFE regulations, coordinating with the Materials Manager, and overseeing accurate electronic inventory updates.

The candidate must hold a high school diploma or GED, be fluent in English, and proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. The job is full-time, non-exempt, with on-site work in Radford, VA.

Qualifications

  • Must have High School Diploma, GED or equivalent of five years work experience in Inventory Control field.
  • Be able to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Possess strong understanding of and the ability to work in Microsoft Office software programs with proficiency in the use of Excel.
  • Be able to be trained on the current Inventory Control software and ERP modules and assist in training all department staff.
  • Yellow Belt Certification or must obtain within one year of position.
  • Possess initiative and the ability to perform in an environment driven by deadlines, in a quality manner while handling several other key responsibilities.
  • Supervise all immediate subordinates in performance of their assigned functions to ensure that plans and programs are carried out in accordance with corporate policy.
  • Be able to effectively communicate/coordinate with all departments.
  • Be willing to attend the transportation certification course.
  • Be able to work all overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible with Materials Manager that all PbG locations successfully achieves full compliance per BATFE Regulations IAW Federal Explosives Law and Regulations, 5400.7.
  • Compliance is met by performing the required responsibilities within this position along with the Materials Manager, per the regulations per 5400.7.
  • Responsible to ensure all purchased products are verified, stored, and entered the Electronic Inventory System within the next business day of receipt.
  • Responsible for completion of all PBG Radford Acquisitions for all products received from suppliers, the required documents to receive from another company, upload electronically and keep an organized hardcopy for audits per receipt.
  • Responsible that all products are stored in appropriate magazines or other approved storage areas without exceeding maximum weight limits and not stored with incompatible materials.
  • Responsible that all labeling requirements are met for identification of products and Hazard Division and Class (HOC).
  • Responsible that all internal storage procedures are being followed by performing internal audits.
  • Responsible to perform all PbGRadford Fireworks transactions to ensure Daily Summary Magazine Transactions (DSMT) are completed within the next business day.
  • Responsible to complete all PBG Dispositions for all shipments and ensure documents are sent to company receiving shipment.
  • Responsible to upload all PBG Dispositions for electronic file as well as keep hardcopy records organized and easily accessible per shipment.
  • Responsible to upload all PBG Dispositions to a team's folder that ship to FBG company for easy tracking between two companies.
  • Responsible that all acquisitions are completed by the Fireworks department and submitted within regulations once entered into the magazine storage to ensure all inventory is posted within the end of the next business day.
  • Responsible for 100% annual inventory and 100% cycle completion to meet PbG's approved plan for both PBG Radford and PBG Delanson.
  • Physical lead on PBG Radford Annual and Cycles required.
  • Oversee the status and completion with Materials Manager for PBG Delanson working remotely with Facility Manager.
  • Ensure training is completed thoroughly for all PBG Delanson personnel involved in Fireworks Commercial Inventory and ensure regulations are met by weekly meetings, working remotely with Facility Manager.
  • Participate or lead any training needed for PBG Delanson Staff.
  • Work with PBG Fireworks Program Manager for any discrepancies found that have issues involving the Fireworks production operations to find root causes, correct discrepancies and prevent future errors.
  • Works with Materials Manager, an Inventory Systems Supervisor for support on annual and cycle inventories needed.
  • Responsible for running inventory reports at the end of each month and end of year for all PBG Commercial Fireworks and request PBG Delanson from Facility Manager, review inventories for any alarming errors, research and resolve.
  • Maintain all electronic files for inventories, dispositions, acquisition, etc.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy and organization for all hard copy show packets, Dispositions, Acquisitions, and Import records.
  • Be available to participate in audits that will be performed by PBG Fireworks Program Manager and FBG Senior Operations Manager that will simulate ATF audits.
  • Learn PBG obligations to Federal Explosive Law and regulations, 5400.7 along with Materials Manager, to support the Materials Manager in BATFE inspections.
  • Consult with DoD operations personnel to assist in CC and Sage integrity, when commercial fireworks processes have limited movement, and all compliances are met.
  • Assist in creation of any required procedures/forms.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education as required for the position.
  • Participation with internal ISO audits encouraged.
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures and be in compliance with all governmental laws and regulations.
  • Obey all company work and safety rules.
  • Perform all other duties as required by management.
