Job summary

AT Process Technologies is seeking an on-site EOD Technician to render-safe and dispose of explosive materials, oversee magazine operations, and ensure safety during test and production activities. The role requires prior EOD experience and strict adherence to ATF/DoD storage standards.

The ideal candidate will lead safety decisions, manage inventories, and coordinate with engineers to maintain safe exclusion zones, PPE, and procedures for all energetic materials on site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on EOD experience including render-safe procedures and disposal of explosive materials.
• Working knowledge of ATF explosives storage and record-keeping regulations (27 CFR 555) or equivalent DoD standards.
• Experience managing an explosives magazine, bunker, or licensed storage facility with inventory control and key/access management.
• Ability to serve as site safety authority and halt work when unsafe.
• Strong attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping.
• Ability to work on-site in laboratory, fabrication, and plant environments; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Render-safe procedures and disposal of unexploded ordnance and energetic materials at ATP and customer sites.
• Serve as safety authority during testing, static fires, and production operations involving energetic materials with authority to stop work.
• Manage the explosives magazine/bunker: storage, segregation, handling per ATF/DoD requirements.
• Maintain acquisition, disposition, and inventory records; reconcile physical inventories.
• Conduct magazine inspections and maintain access logs; ensure security.
