Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Blaster to conduct field tests and detonation planning, interpreting drill patterns and diagrams to meet job needs. You will communicate blast details to the crew and coordinate safety procedures on site.

Responsibilities include arranging and detonating shots, maintaining required documentation, and ensuring compliance with customer policies while mitigating risks. Travel to customer locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21+ years old as required by ATF.
• Current blaster's license as required by state.
• Experience with initiation systems, laser profiling, and seismographs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate blast details with all personnel on the job site.
• Prepare and detonate shots safely and successfully.
• Conduct pre/post Shot Safety Audits and documentation per policy.
• Ensure crew complies with customers' policies/procedures and handle client issues.
