Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited proportionally. No additional credit is given for overtime.
Note: To be properly credited, experience gained through collateral duties or special assignments should be documented with specific dates and percentage of time spent, e.g., "Collateral Duty: Assistant Training Instructor (ATI) from Jan 2013 to Oct 2014 - 15 hours per week."
Volunteer experience, including paid and unpaid roles through programs like Peace Corps or AmeriCorps, is also credited as it builds relevant skills and competencies.
