Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented person to join our team as the Regional Sales Manager, Security Camera Trailers (RSM, SCT) for the Midwest. This position is an exempt, full-time role with flexible hours, reporting to the Director of Sales, Security Camera Trailers. Overnight and out-of-state travel is required (expected to be up to 12 days per month initially, then reducing as the territory develops).

This is a remote position, with preference for candidates located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa.

The RSM, SCT will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within a designated region. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and partners, and managing a sales team to meet revenue targets. The role focuses on promoting and selling security camera trailers, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, recruiting, and supporting new channel partners for Street Smart's Security Camera Trailer business.
  • Managing regional sales, selling directly to customers.
  • Developing a pipeline of potential clients through networking, referrals, industry events, and marketing campaigns.
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas in the territory.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners to drive sales and satisfaction.
  • Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Monitoring and reporting sales performance, forecasting, and analyzing results.
  • Attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

This role is suitable for candidates with:

  • Experience developing new geographic sales territories.
  • Experience in the security industry selling to end customers and security integrators.
  • Ability to develop and deliver product presentations to large groups and executives.
  • Ability to target and engage new accounts based on existing account profiles.
  • Willingness to engage in both outbound and inbound sales.
  • Proven success in establishing and scaling profitable channel partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to qualify for a DOT medical card.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google, and Salesforce.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree.
