JOB TITLE: Manager of Security & Facilities

STATUS: Full Time, Exempt

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Administration Ops and Strategy

SALARY: $68,000-$118,400/Year

POSITION SUMMARY

Day-to-day operations and management of the Security Department. Supervising and

maintaining Security operations to minimize threats to affiliate assets, patients, and staff. Great

interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to

handle sensitive and confidential information. Responsible for performing a variety of duties

requiring proper methods and materials for the general maintenance and repair of PPGR

properties. Work involves occasional strenuous tasks, variations of temperature, reaching, ladder

work with stretching and heavy lifting, and physical stamina. Must be available for after-hour

emergencies. This position may fulfill the cell phone reimbursement policy requirements.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and Maintain Security Operations

Serves as Security Liaison for PPGR

Supervise and coordinate PPGR Security Operators in the daily operation of their

assigned shift

Monitor and Develop security personnel performance to include, but not limited to,

providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations

Ensure continuous and safe operation of all property boundaries and structures

Make recommendations to management on better security processes as identified during

daily routine

Assists in the development and implementation of emergency procedures

Other duties as assigned

Periodic travel to affiliate locations may be required

Supervise and Maintain Facility Operations

Hiring, supervising, and evaluating all Environmental Services maintenance and other

staff used to supplement department staffing

Collaborates with the Vice President of Administration Ops and Strategy in the development

and implementation of staff programs for facilities & security

Follows ambulatory cleaning guidelines

Maintenance and Oversees Repairs of the Following:

Repairs of electrical systems

Plumbing systems

HVAC systems

Building interiors

Mechanical systems

Building exterior (watering of plants, maintenance of parking lots)

Collect and screen packages during receiving hours

Solicit and review bids for capital improvements

Manage PPGR inventory

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of materials and methods used for the maintenance and repair of building

systems

Strategic planning and thinking as well as the ability to work well under pressure

Demonstrate strong leadership skills

The ability to juggle many and varied priorities

Proven ability to be flexible, prioritize, and manage multiple projects, as well as solve

problems in a timely manner

Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all other staff

Bilingual skills a plus, particularly Spanish or Bosnian
