You will follow procedures, mentor trainees, and assist in pricing and display. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products to quality standards.
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (e.g. sausage, oven-ready, cured meats).
• Maintains sampling program and monitors spoilage.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Delivers courteous service and assists customers promptly.
• Follows health, safety, and required procedures (Weights & Measures).

Responsibilities

• Cuts and merchandises meat products for display and sale.
• Provides excellent customer service and suggests add-on purchases.
• Ensures signs and pricing accuracy on shelves.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary work and shopping area.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards and incidents promptly.
