Job summary

Mount Carmel in Ohio seeks a Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer to perform echocardiography studies and report preliminary findings for physician interpretation. The role requires patient-focused care, accurate documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT or ARDMS credentials, have cardiovascular imaging experience, and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education in diagnostic medical sonography required or preferred.
• Registered with ARRT or registry eligible; ARDMS/CCI credentials preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular imaging and BLS certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Reviews orders and identifies patients to ensure correct procedures.
• Performs echocardiography studies and reports preliminary findings.
• Maintains accurate data entry in diagnostic systems and ensures report accuracy.
• Communicates patient data to team members and collaborates across departments.
• Operates and troubleshoots testing equipment and contributes to equipment evaluation.
