Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking an enthusiastic bartender to deliver exceptional guest experiences at the bar. You will craft cocktails and beer, balance flavors, and maintain a welcoming environment for guests in the dining room and bar.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders, executing wine service, handling payments, and maintaining bar stock and cleanliness. Strong knowledge of wines and house cocktails is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or above.
• Extensive wine knowledge and expertise in cocktails.
• Comprehensive knowledge of house cocktails and ingredients.
• Able to upsell drink specials and food items.
• Comfort with basic math and handling money.
• Familiarity with POS systems and beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and seat them in a friendly manner.
• Present drink menus, make recommendations, and take beverage orders.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per standard recipes.
• Perform wine service when required.
• Record drink orders accurately in the POS system.
• Process payments and make change as needed.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock in an attractive, functional setup.
• Support bar and dining room service to ensure guest satisfaction.
