Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable Bartender to join our dining room beverage team. You will craft cocktails and beers, greet guests, upsell specials, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar while delivering attentive service.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, wine and spirits knowledge, and comfort with POS systems. Must be 21+ and able to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be age 21 or above.
• Outgoing personality and strong communication.
• Knowledge of wine and beverage brands and pairings.
• Extensive knowledge of house cocktails and recipes.
• Able to confidently suggest food and beverage pairings.
• Basic math skills and POS familiarity.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly in the bar area.
• Present drink menus, take orders, and prepare drinks per standard recipes.
• Provide wine service when needed.
• Engage guests to ensure satisfaction and upsell the bar and dining items.
• Record drink orders accurately in the POS and handle payments.
• Maintain bar stock, cleanliness, and equipment.
