Job summary

ARTECHOUSE in Washington DC is seeking an experienced location manager to lead daily operations, team development, and guest experiences across our immersive spaces.

The role requires 3-5 years in operations management, facility coordination with vendors, and a commitment to maintaining the brand culture. You will oversee a ~15-person team, schedule four full days with weekend coverage, and work with the Operations Director to drive excellence.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of operations management experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in facility management, including maintenance and working with vendors/contractors.
• Strong decision-making skills related to personnel, safety, and facilities.
• Excellent communication and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day operations including space maintenance and exhibition operations.
• Manage a team of approximately 15 staff.
• Oversee 4 full-day shifts per week, including 2 weekend days.
• Ensure visitor experience remains consistently excellent.
• Oversee vendors, contractors, cleaners, security, and building codes.
• Oversee hiring and training of all staff and managers.
• Maintain quality control standards across all staff and departments.
• Delegate tasks, coach staff, and drive best practices for efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Operations Director on operations, culture, and visitor experience.
• Uphold ARTECHOUSE culture, reputation, and brand.
