Job summary

ARTECHOUSE in Washington, DC is seeking hospitality-oriented individuals to join the Experiential Bar team. The bar is an XR-powered, multi-sensory extension of the art space, delivering cocktails and mocktails via our XR app.

Roles can be full-time or part-time with day and evening shifts, weekend availability. You will greet guests, prepare drinks, ensure bar cleanliness, restock, and help present the bar menu while complying with age verification and standards.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a bartender.
• Excellent mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
• Positive attitude and communication skills.
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of our experiential bar and responsible for our guests’ experiences
• Ensure bar is clean and organized
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders, serve drinks, and discuss the inspiration behind them
• Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Be an extension of our exhibition
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

We're looking for positive, friendly, hospitality-oriented, hardworking individuals to join our Experiential Bar team!

Did you know ARTECHOUSE is home to the first in the world Extended Reality (XR) bar? Housed inside our DC art space, the upscale bar is an extension of our digital art on view and is a core component of the experience, allowing visitors to continue and expand upon the art exploration with multi-sensory cocktails and mocktails activated through our XR mobile app. It's more than a bar, it's a true multi-sensory experience.

Openavailability and a reliable schedule. Full-time or part-time roles available.

COMPENSATION
