Job summary

Sloomoo Institute in Tysons, VA is seeking an Experience Lead to guide guest-facing operations across all zones. You will coach 30–40 hourly team members on shift, uphold presentation standards, and ensure a joyful, safe guest experience throughout the venue.

As a hands-on floor leader, you’ll report insights to management, support training, and partner with the GM to manage labor budgets while delivering top-tier birthday parties, events, and group visits.

Qualifications

• Experience managing operations in guest‑facing venues.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and approachable manner.
• Able to engage with colleagues diplomatically.
• Proficient with MS Office, Google Suite, Slack, and PM tools.
• Energetic, perceptive problem solver with a good sense of humor.
• Minimum age: 18.

Responsibilities

• Act as the shift leader when AGM/GM are offsite or focused elsewhere; manage 30-40 hourly team members on shift.
• Take personal responsibility for presentation and experience standards across the site.
• Deliver and elevate guest experiences across all zones; troubleshoot issues quickly with a calm, joyful tone.
• Continually support and challenge the teams to maintain and improve the overall experience, reporting daily insights to management.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with relevant leadership teams.
• Champion accessibility requirements including facilities and staff training across the site.
• Represent the guest Experience team in meetings and committees as assigned.
• In conjunction with the GM, control labor spend to maintain FOH budgets and standards.
• Support marketing efforts through videos, pictures, stories, etc.
• Report any issues with written incident reports at shift end.
• Lead events and birthday parties for groups; ensure top-level service.
