Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences (PNWU) in Yakima, WA, seeks a Manager of Education and Experiential Learning to lead simulation-based and interprofessional learning programs. You will supervise staff, design and assess learning experiences, and collaborate with faculty to meet learning objectives and standards.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, accreditation readiness, and alignment of educational activities with institutional goals within a dynamic health sciences

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in education, health care, health sciences, simulation, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in simulation-based education, experiential learning, health care education, SP programming, IPE, curriculum development, or related area.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Mansioni

• Leads development, review, implementation, and refinement of simulation-based, SP-based, interprofessional, and other approved experiential learning activities.
• Partners with faculty and subject-matter experts to align learning objectives, learner level, instructional methods, assessment strategies, and debriefing approaches.
• Implements educational priorities within the direction set by the Director; curriculum and resource allocation sit above this role.
• Establishes and monitors educational quality processes across the assigned portfolio.
• Reviews concerns and outcomes; uses data to identify patterns and implement improvements.
• Supervises educational staff, including planning, workload balancing, onboarding, coaching, and evaluation.
• Leads the IPE and SP methodology integration and coordination with governance bodies.
• Consults with faculty on experiential learning design, facilitation, debriefing, assessment, and safety.
