Job summary

West Coast University is seeking a Manager, Simulation Center to lead nursing simulation activities and operations. You will guide students, supervise staff, and maintain accreditation standards within a student-centered environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with faculty, community partners, and interdisciplinary simulation initiatives to advance learning outcomes and patient care preparation.

Qualifications

• Three to five years strong clinical experience in acute nursing patient care.
• Knowledge and understanding of human pathophysiology and the nursing process.
• Experience with human patient simulators and audio/visual equipment; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of simulation activities in training healthcare professionals.
• Supervise the Simulation Center Specialist, Simulation Information and Technology Support, Administrative Assistant and faculty.
• Monitor daily operations such as equipment and supply inventory and coordinate training of faculty on simulation equipment and learning principles.
• Facilitate community partnerships and integration of inter-professional simulation activities as needed.
• Ensure data collection and analysis to evaluate resource utilization and student learning outcomes; assist with special projects in simulation modalities.
• Support and facilitate all simulation center activities to maintain accreditation standards for simulation and the College of Nursing.
