Job summary

Washington University in St. Louis seeks an experienced leader to direct simulation and standardized patient activities for its School of Medicine and affiliated centers.

You will provide strategic vision, oversee the Wood Simulation Center and SP Center, and coordinate curriculum design with medical directors and faculty. Responsibilities include QA governance, staff leadership, budget oversight, vendor relationships, and LMS support to enable high-fidelity simulation and learner assessment

Qualifications

• Masters degree in healthcare discipline or education.
• Experience in healthcare education leadership and educational outcomes assessment.
• Experience with use of simulation & standardized patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to ensure QA standards for education and assessment.
• Provides strategic and operational oversight of the Wood Simulation Center and Standardized Patient Center.
• Recruits, hires and leads staff to ensure effective maintenance and operations.
• Oversees budgetary expenditures and contracts with simulation/AV vendors.
• Manages learning management systems and serves as a resource for operations.
