Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Event Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of event planning or hospitality experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, volunteers, and vendor relationships.
• Proficient with event management software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events from concept through completion.
• Manage logistics, vendors, contracts, and timelines.
• Coordinate celebrations and volunteer support.
• Oversee setup, registration, and on-site operations.
• Collaborate with ministries, staff, vendors, and partners.
• Support marketing, communications, and hospitality initiatives.
• Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure accountability.
• Create welcoming experiences for guests and participants.
• Build relationships with community organizations and outreach partners.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
• Role includes occasional evenings and weekends.
