Job summary

Northwest Bank Pittston is seeking a friendly Teller to handle transactions, assist customers, and refer needs to the appropriate team. You will greet customers, balance drawers, and support daily branch operations to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role requires cash handling and customer service experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and availability for evenings/weekends. Proficiency with teller systems and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Banking and/or retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve financial wellness activity goals and refer opportunities.
• Assist customers with questions, problem resolution, and inform them of product/service features.
• Greet customers and take ownership to resolve issues or concerns.
• Balance teller drawer daily and participate in office meetings and balancing of vault/ATM.
• Deliver Northwest Star experience and educate customers on financial wellness and digital offerings.
• Adhere to security and dual control processes and policies.
• Assist in branch opening and closing tasks as needed.
• Work evenings and weekends as scheduled or needed.
• Navigate Microsoft Office software and teller-related systems to maximize efficiency.
• Work as part of a team and support colleagues in daily tasks.
