Responsibilities

• Pre-conference, observation and post-conference with the new teacher.
• Provide classroom assistance and help obtain materials and resources.
• Attend staff development and complete mentor-related assignments.
• Establish a constructive mentor-mentee relationship and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist with planning, instruction delivery, feedback and classroom management.
• Identify professional development opportunities and encourage workshop attendance.
• Submit monthly reports to the county office.
