Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand software requirements and specifications.
• Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test data for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools
• Work closely with developers and project managers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Conduct manual testing for web-based applications, mobile interfaces, and APIs.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide timely feedback from a testing perspective.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
• Validate fixes and perform retesting.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience in manual testing. Knowledge of automation tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs).
• Basic knowledge of database concepts and ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing SaaS applications or custom web platforms.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of tools like Postman, Selenium, or similar is an added advantage.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
