Job summary

Haidilao in Irvine is seeking a friendly and detail‑oriented server to provide excellent table service and guest experiences. You will take orders, deliver food and beverages, and help guests navigate the menu with enthusiasm and accuracy.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced dining environment. Fluency in English, with Mandarin or Spanish being a plus, is preferred. On-site work with benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• California Food Handler Certificate
• Previous server experience is preferred
• Fluent in English; Mandarin and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
• Keep tables clean and ensure utensils, napkins, and needs are provided
• Have in-depth menu knowledge to answer questions and suggest orders
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments and other items as requested
• Ensure food is prepared correctly and to customer satisfaction; return incorrect orders to kitchen
• Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Be a team player and assist coworkers to ensure customer satisfaction
• Prepare guest checks and collect payments
• Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning and setup of silverware
• Perform other related duties as assigned
