Job summary

Haidilao in the United States seeks a server to provide table service, greet guests, and ensure a pleasant dining experience. You will take orders, deliver food, and maintain exemplary guest care while upholding brand standards.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong teamwork, and the ability to operate POS systems. California Food Handler certification is required or pursued as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Hardworking, professional dedication, strong interpersonal communication skills, and strong teamwork spirit.
• Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
• Obtain the California Food Handler Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Keep tables clean and ensure utensils, napkins, and needs are provided.
• Maintain menu knowledge and assist with order choices.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables as requested.
• Ensure food is prepared correctly and to customer satisfaction; return incorrect orders.
• Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Be a team player and assist coworkers as needed.
• Prepare checks and process payments.
• Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning and prep.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
