Job summary

United Security is seeking an Experienced Service Technician to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion, intercom, and low-voltage systems across commercial sites.

The role requires 3+ years of electronic security experience, solid troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electronic security or low-voltage experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with access control, cameras, intrusion and intercom systems.
• Basic knowledge of IP networking.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, intercom, and low-voltage systems.
• Diagnose wiring, hardware, programming, and basic network issues.
• Perform system testing, preventive maintenance, upgrades, and equipment replacement.
• Program and configure security equipment as needed.
• Communicate professionally with customers and document all work performed.
• Work independently and take ownership of service calls from start to completion.
