Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Senior Service Technician to service, maintain, repair and troubleshoot access control and IP-based video systems at client sites. Travel to commercial locations will be required, with a company vehicle provided.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, knowledge of systems such as Software House, Lenel, AMAG and Milestone, and the ability to read electrical schematics and CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• High School Degree, Vocational School or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of field experience.
• Experience with Software House, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacq, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI.

Responsibilities

• Travel to commercial client sites to service, repair, troubleshoot, and detect access control equipment and IP-based video security systems.
• Troubleshoot system installations to identify issues and apply effective resolutions.
• Apply documentation for tracking service-related issues.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe use of hand and power tools and CCTV testing devices.
• Read electrical schematics, CAD drawings for low-voltage applications.
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Provide phone and online remote diagnostic support.
• Drive to client sites with company-issued vehicle to perform service.
