Experienced Revenue Cycle Manager - Home Infusion

This is a 100% remote position - please apply only if you have 3-5 years of Medical Insurance Revenue Cycle Management experience.

AIS Healthcare seeks an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to join our team! This role involves directing the daily activities of the Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables Teams (including Aetna, Cigna, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers) to maximize reimbursements. The Manager oversees denials, appeals, and ensures reimbursements align with contracts. Responsibilities include quality reviews, training, and policy documentation.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, in-depth collection practices knowledge, and compliance with Federal and State billing and collection regulations.

Job Summary:

The Collections Manager is a full-time role overseeing collection staff and daily operations for AIS Healthcare’s TDD services, including contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, and billing issue resolution. The role involves quality reviews, policy development, and team leadership.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred.
  • 5-7 years healthcare industry experience required.
  • Experience in Home Infusion and Intrathecal Pain Management preferred.
  • 3-5 years Revenue Cycle Management experience required.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee collections operations, including denials, claims, adjustments, appeals, and staff productivity.
  • Serve as SME for collection and billing processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments for claim processing.
  • Prepare and analyze reports and scorecards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Lead staff training, performance reviews, and scheduling.
  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of drug codes, infusion supplies, insurance plans, and medical terminology.
  • Foster team collaboration and positive interactions.
  • Handle hiring, scheduling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management functions.
  • Good judgment, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9/10, medical terminology, and insurance plans.
  • Leadership ability in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
