We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Manager to oversee our Miscellaneous Accounts Receivables Teams, including payers like Aetna, Cigna, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid. This role involves managing denials, preparing appeals, and ensuring reimbursements align with contracts. The manager will perform quality reviews, identify training needs, and help document policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of collection practices, and compliance with federal and state regulations.

Job Summary

The Collections Manager is a full-time role responsible for overseeing collection staff and daily operations related to TDD services, including contract analysis, reimbursement, denial management, appeals, and resolving billing issues with insurers or responsible parties.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience required.
• Home Infusion and Intrathecal Pain Management experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of Revenue Cycle Management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee collection operations, including contract analysis, denials, claims, adjustments, and staff productivity.
• Serve as SME for collection and billing processes.
• Maintain communication with other departments for claim processing.
• Prepare and analyze reports on department performance.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Lead and supervise collection staff, including training and performance reviews.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Develop and update policies and procedures to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management functions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and judgment skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
