Job summary

AvalonBay Communities seeks a Maintenance Technician II in San Dimas, CA to upkeep apartment homes and deliver a high level of resident comfort. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general systems, while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced community.

With 2–3 years of relevant experience and a valid driver's license, you will join a team focused on reliability, preventative maintenance, and quality workmanship in a supportive, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general upkeep.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work on-call shifts.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and related systems.
• Complete service requests promptly and maintain community standards.
• Ensure vacant units are rent-ready and perform preventative maintenance.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
