Job summary

QXO is seeking experienced carpenters for residential construction across the greater Chicago area, including Will, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Cook, Lake, McHenry, and DeKalb counties. Travel between project sites may be required based on business needs.

Join our team to work on projects involving exterior trim, decks, framing, interior trim, roof sheathing, and back-out, collaborating with Foremen and field leadership to maintain production pace and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential carpentry across exterior trim, decks, framing, interior trim, roof sheathing, or back-out.
• Ability to take direction from Foremen and field leadership.
• Strong independent work ethic and craftsmanship.
• Experience using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential framing, exterior trim, interior trim, deck construction, roof sheathing, and back-out work.
• Partner closely with Foremen to execute daily build plans and maintain production pace.
• Execute work with high quality, efficiency, and consistency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Support crews in meeting project schedules and build timelines.
