Job summary

QXO is actively seeking experienced carpenters for residential construction projects across the greater Chicago area, including multiple counties and communities. The role involves exterior trim, decks, framing, interior trim, roof sheathing, and back-out work, with travel between project sites as needed.

Applicants should have strong experience in residential carpentry, be able to work with foremen and field leadership, and demonstrate independence, quality workmanship, and adept use of hand

Qualifications

• Experience in residential carpentry with specialization in exterior trim, decks, framing, interior trim, roof sheathing, or back-out (≤140 chars).
• Ability to work directly with Foremen and field leadership (≤140 chars).
• Strong independent work capability and commitment to quality (≤140 chars).
• Experience using hand and power tools (≤140 chars).
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship (≤140 chars).

Responsibilities

• Perform residential framing, exterior trim, interior trim, deck construction, roof sheathing, and back-out work.
• Partner closely with Foremen to execute daily build plans and maintain production pace.
• Execute work with high quality, efficiency, and consistency.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Support crews in meeting project schedules and build timelines.
