Job summary

QXO is seeking experienced carpenters for immediate opportunities across our Chicago suburban project sites. Roles include exterior trim, decks, framing, interior trim and roof sheathing, with travel between sites as needed.

You will work closely with Foremen to hit daily production targets while maintaining high workmanship on residential builds. Candidates should have proven residential carpentry skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential carpentry with exterior trim, decks, framing, interior trim, roof sheathing, or back-out.
• Ability to work with Foremen and field leadership.
• Ability to work independently and produce quality work.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential carpentry including exterior/in trim, decks, framing, roof sheathing, and back-out work.
• Work with Foremen to execute daily build plans and maintain pace.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites.
• Support crews in meeting project schedules and timelines.
• Travel between project sites may be required.
