Shift Details

Positions may be available on various shifts, including weekend options and per diem. Apply now to speak with a recruiter about current openings!

Full-time: 36 or 40 hours per week

Part-time: less than 36 hours per week

Holiday and weekend requirements vary by unit and policy

Per Diem: minimum of 2 shifts/month

Must complete an initial 7-day classroom orientation followed by unit orientation.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care through the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and document care effects.
• Collaborate with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel to uphold professional nursing standards.
• Maintain confidentiality of all materials and ensure proper release of information.
• Demonstrate the Network’s Service Excellence Standards in interactions with all customers.
• Follow policies regarding attendance and dress code.
• Assess, treat, and communicate appropriately for patients of all ages.

Training and Experience

Minimum of one year of Emergency Department Nursing experience required. A personalized orientation program is provided. Maintain current BLS certification.

Education

Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or New Jersey (Warren Campus).

Physical and Sensory Requirements

Ability to sit up to 2 hours/day, stand for up to 10 hours/day, walk for 6 hours/day, and lift objects up to 75 lbs. Transport patients weighing up to 500 lbs. Must perceive attributes through touch, hear normal conversation and high/low frequencies, and see general, near, far, color, and peripheral vision.
