Palm Lake Care Bethania is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Part-Time basis. You’ll provide daily living support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing, under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Position Details

Palm Lake Care Bethania is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Part‑Time basis. You can work from just a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts a week and have work‑life balance.

As aPersonal Care Assistant, you’ll provide daily living support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Working under the guidance of aRegistered Nurse, you will:

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
• Support residents’ emotional and social needs
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Collaborate with the clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences

What We’re Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
• A current National Police Check
• A caring and respectful approach towards residents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Empathy with elderly residents and their families
• Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded although not essential
• Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility highly regarded
