Job summary

A caring services provider in Smithfield is looking for a dedicated Carer to provide exceptional personal care to clients. This role includes assisting with bathing, grooming, and domestic duties to promote wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering personal care services and document care accurately. A Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care is preferred, with training provided. Responsibilities of this role will include, but not limited to:

Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.

Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

Proven experience delivering high‑quality personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.

Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.

Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.

Malaysian or Indonesian speaking is desired.

Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.

A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one.

Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care.

Valid police check, or is willing to obtain one.

Willing to travel to Smithfield.
