Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking an experienced Press Operator for 1st Shift at our Newburyport, MA facility. This full-time, on-site role requires operating presses from 2-ton to 100-ton and following strict production instructions in a safety-forward environment.

The position demands at least 1 year of press operation experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work without visa sponsorship. ITAR/EAR compliance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of Press Operator and/or machine shop experience.
• Must be proficient in the English language, both verbal and written.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate presses – 2-ton to 100-ton.
• Follow documented production instructions.
• Perform visual inspection while running presses.
• Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times.
• Follow all applicable AS9100 quality procedures.

Salary Range: $21.00 To $25.00 Hourly

About the Opportunity:

We’re looking for anExperienced Press Operator for 1st Shiftat our Newburyport facility.

Location:

Newburyport, MA, 100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Perform all work in a safe manner, using appropriate PPE and following safety guidelines for the assigned task.
• Operate presses – 2-ton to 100-ton
• Consistently follow documented production instructions
• Perform visual inspection while running presses
• Maintain a neat and clean work area at all times
• Follow all applicable AS9100 quality procedures

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of Press Operator and/or machine shop experience
• Must be proficient in the English language, both verbal and written.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated mechanical ability is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Proficiency with measuring instruments
• Strong technical knowledge of Tool and Dies
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
